Marcellus
Marcellus carried the weight of the world upon his shoulders.
The future of his generation and the future of the Earth as a living planet deeply concerned him.
He felt enormous compassion for nature and nature became his sanctuary.
He was brave and inquisitive, wise before his time and uncompromising.
Always exciting and challenging company, he took notice of injustice and fought for fairness. From sweet PC Pickle to a lonely warrior of his own conflicted mind, he fought ceaselessly for love he deserved but rarely felt.
Marcellus was proud and did not serve by half measures. In death, he has become our teacher and his message is clear. There is no middle ground in the battle that is life. We are standing on a crossroad as a humanity. It’s time to choose a side. Will it be compassion or greed?

The www.moortrees.org donations are going towards a new woodland in Dartmoor. We shall be in touch if you wish to get involved with planting this woodland next winter.
It will be a meaningful place to visit in the years to come.
